We are a Cannabis friendly establishment. We encompass all things cannabis from education and events, to products for consumption and celebration of the plant. We offer a wide variety of options to learn about cannabis and participate in it's growth and movement. We believe in access for all and that we must work hard to erase the stigma that was created during prohibition.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I felt the universal pull to help. I am a teacher as well as someone who worked in the music industry for many years. I have been able to combine all the years of other work I have done and put it in to this new venture. I believe fully in the healing and therapeutic properties of cannabis and I want to share that with as many people as I can.
What helped you when working with BACD and how did it impact you and your business?
I really enjoyed learning about how to become a business lady. I liked networking with other start ups and meeting with people who really know what they are doing.
Tell us about the growth of your business. How many employees, locations etc?
My business has grown so much I had to pen it in real life! I hadn’t intended to do this until further on down the road but it was doing so well on line I had to make it IRL. And now, we fill the room for every event, we have a huge following and member count and best of all… we are helping hundreds of people all of the time!
What marketing strategies have been successful for you?
I was NOT a social media person at all! Now, I use it daily. What an incredible “free” way to set up a business. I can market to as many humans as possible and I utilize all formats. I also find use in physical promoters who help me build and grow.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own business?
Find a really great team to help support you. You can’t do it all on your own ( I didn’t realize this before). And always be kind. Bullies don’t get very far in this world.
