Arts on Fire is an arts studio in Ajax that helps both kids and adults with creative thinking. Their arts programs can prepare students for a career in the arts or simply improve our quality of life. They have seen participants flourish from unsure to confident, and they are excited to continue bringing the arts to life in Durham Region through classes in:

What value did you receive from BACD?
Sitting in a room with 20 other people interested in starting a business was encouraging. Hearing their unique stories and vision was motivating. Being able to ask questions about anything business related and receiving answers on the spot was a relief. I felt confident enough to move ahead with my business plan after just one workshop.
What advice would you give someone who wants to start their own business?
Start at the BACD. Take a free workshop. Have coffee with Toni from Full Scoop Marketing and let her do a diagnostic of your business clientele and marketing approach. Bank with RBC. Find a terrific bookkeeper and use Quickbooks. Next, hire a business tech person to find the best automated software for your business. Listen to them when they tell you to upgrade your website and SEO.
