Big hello! I'm Elisa, Owner and Founder of Wild Willow Mac Co. I've always found I needed to be passionate about what I do and macarons are all about passion. Every colour, every flavour, every design comes from the heart. Can you taste it?
What inspired you to start your own business?
After years of baking and sharing with family and friends, we’ve finally brought our macs out of our kitchen and into your hands! Though macarons have a mind of their own, we love coming up with new flavours and adding exciting textures inspired by seasonal flavours and favourite treats!
What value did you receive from BACD?
Making a connection with Patrice and everyone at BACD has been so incredibly valuable and inspiring. I also love meeting with the whole cohort. Even though we’re all in different industries, I get constant ideas from the great work everyone’s doing!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own business?
Get into it – you have to start by jumping in! Then I suggest connecting with your local community of makers and entrepreneurs. It takes a village and I love having a network I can reach out to.
