Room 28 Women’s Fitness is a new approach fitness solution in Oshawa located at the northeast corner of Taunton and Ritson Rd.
It was created with a holistic approach to mind, body and spirit health. Room 28 offers fitness, personal training and bootcamps (high energy workouts) combined with the calming effects of yoga and meditation AND a focus on nutrition providing a more well-rounded approach to women’s fitness. Their programs are one-on-one and small group only! No intimidating gym, no membership fees, no high-pressure sales people. You pay for what you use and nothing more. You can create your own group of friends to work out with, work out one-on-one with Mandy, or join in with other women, but it will always be small group!
The owner Mandy, has a background in competitive fitness and at one time, believed high energy was the only way to be well. That is until she got unwell. She entered early menopause at 39 and suffered. She started drinking too much and she spiraled into a dangerous depression. Meditation helped change her life and soon after Yoga. Mandy then searched and studied for a way to be balanced and after travelling to India to study yoga and meditation more in depth, she knew she had a way of combining all of her knowledge into a program that would help other women.
Mandy’s goal with Room 28 is to help women create a life that doesn’t just look good on the outside, but feels good on the inside.
