Bernard’s inspiration came from seeing how overwhelming and expensive event planning can be — especially when it comes to sourcing quality rentals. With a background in hosting and community events, he launched J³ Party Rentals to simplify the process and bring joy back into celebrations.

His mission? To make every gathering — big or small — memorable, affordable, and worry-free.

Since launching in May 2024, J³ Party Rentals has grown steadily across Durham Region. Operating from a home-based location, Bernard offers delivery and setup services that make it easy for clients to host events anywhere. He currently leads the business solo, with one casual staff member supporting during peak seasons.

Thanks to the Starter Company Plus program at BACD, which is funded by the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Bernard received mentorship, funding, and training that helped him:
