Renovations and Organizing Company

We are professional renovations and organizing company. We do small and large projects! Often the preparation for a renovation is the hardest part and what causes the most delays for people getting started. We can pack up the area to be renovated, complete the renovation and then unpack and organize the space, so we can be fully enjoyed!

Often the preparation for a renovation is the hardest part and what causes the most delays for people getting started. We can pack up the area to be renovated, complete the renovation and then unpack and organize the space, so we can be fully enjoyed!

Samantha recently left a job and wanted to do something that made a difference in peoples lives. With a customer service management, project management and moving background, organizing was a passion and became a reality when a friend put Samantha in touch with someone who needed organizing. David has over 10 years of renovations, restoration and remediation (demolitions and rebuilds, mostly for insurance companies) experience.  We find our different backgrounds compliment each other and make us a great team!

The BACD provided guidance and mentorship during our very early stages, when we really needed to believe we could do this. They believed in us before we did!
The resources the BACD have for anyone starting a business or already in business are truly invaluable.
From business plans to financial planning to social media, they have it all covered! Then if you want to meet one on one, you’re meeting with a fellow entrepreneur who knows exactly what you were going through.
As our business got busy and our visits less frequent, the BACD reached out to us to see how we were doing. They genuinely care and want you to be successful. We owe a lot to the knowledge and kindness of the BACD and all the time they gave us, no matter how busy they were.

  • We worked very hard for other companies and although we were appreciated in the positions that we had, we felt something was missing for us.
  • We saw the great potential of combining renovations and professional organizing and felt the skill set that we both (David and Samantha) bring to the business created a complete package.
We have a genuine desire to help people to realize their home/office improvements at an affordable price and excellent quality of service.

Balancing time between completing the work and our social media. We are very lucky that our business is mostly referrals but we would like to build a social presence and share our knowledge and work online.

We were not expecting to grow quite so quickly, so work-life balance sometimes eludes us! That said, we have been incredibly blessed in that our business took off very quickly and we are constantly receiving calls for repeat and new business. It is what you want as a business owner.  We’d really have a problem if the phone wasn’t ringing!

We are very lucky that almost all of our business is referrals! We did a lot of networking when we were first starting and made a lot of contacts.  The network we created, along with family and friends have been very kind to us because they recognize how hard we work and communicate on every project!

We are very fortunate to have worked with amazing people who refer us to their friends, family, coworkers and people in general looking for home/office improvements.

We have a desire to constantly learn and educate ourselves.
We stay in touch with and follow/subscribe to information from professionals and trusted industry experts in different areas of home renovations and professional organizing (and relevant industries).
We attend trade shows and speak to experts and vendors to see what is new and upcoming

Be prepared to work harder than you’ve ever worked before but the harder you work, the more you will get out of it. You need to really love what you do and care about others.
  • Make sure you share your knowledge.
  • Be honest even if you might disappoint someone.
  • Attend sessions and to get some help from the BACD!

We meet with our clients/potential clients together (both David and Samantha). We give people time and share our knowledge and are happy to do that regardless of whether people use our services or not.
  • We are relaxed, natural and kind which puts people quickly at ease.
  • We encourage people to do what they can afford and what suits them and their style and not what’s in fashion.
  • We treat our potential customers/customers homes and their neighbours as if we were in our own home and in our own neighbourhood.
  • We believe that great communication is just as important as great work!
