Building Readiness, Resilience, and Peace of Mind
For Helena Sapuridis, entrepreneurship has always been closely tied to service. Raised in a family of business owners who led with integrity, hard work, and community impact, Helena grew up seeing firsthand how a business can be both successful and meaningful.
Her father built 355 Auto Collision, while her mother founded Kids on Wheels Transportation Service—both rooted in resilience and helping others. Those early lessons shaped Helena’s desire to build something that truly matters.
That vision became Divine Provision Inc.
A Purpose‑Driven Business for an Uncertain World
Divine Provision Inc. is a Canadian emergency preparedness company dedicated to helping individuals, families, and organizations feel confident and ready in an increasingly unpredictable world.
The business specializes in professionally curated 72‑hour emergency kits, essential survival products, and practical preparedness resources designed to support safety, readiness, and peace of mind. Every offering is created with a strong emphasis on quality, education, and responsibility. At its core, Divine Provision is about more than products. It’s about empowerment.
“I wanted to help people move from fear to confidence,” Helena shares. “Preparedness isn’t about panic—it’s about planning, education, and protecting what matters most.”
The idea for Divine Provision emerged as Helena recognized a growing gap in awareness and access to emergency preparedness—especially for families, businesses, and vulnerable populations. She saw a clear need for solutions that were not only reliable, but also approachable and educational.
As a startup, Divine Provision Inc. is currently focused on building a strong foundation. The company has secured inventory for its e‑commerce platform, finalized key supplier relationships, and is actively developing its website and social media presence.
Helena currently works alongside a web developer and a consultant, with plans to grow the team as demand increases. Future roles include social media marketing, office administration, and content creation for educational videos.
Connecting with BACD
Helena was introduced to the Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD) through her mother, who spoke highly of the organization and its advisors. Wanting to surround herself with trusted, like‑minded support, Helena reached out as she began shaping her entrepreneurial journey. As an early‑stage founder, Helena values the opportunity to learn, stay teachable, and prepare for sustainable growth as the business launches and evolves.
Early Wins and What She’s Most Proud Of
While Divine Provision Inc. is still in its startup phase, Helena is already proud of the groundwork that’s been laid. She’s built strong relationships with ethical suppliers and connected with organizations that support vulnerable populations—groups that recognize the importance of preparedness education and see the long‑term value of this work.
“I’m proud that there’s a real need for what we’re building,” she says. “And I’m proud that this business is rooted in service, integrity, and community impact.”
Looking Ahead
Marketing efforts are just beginning, with a focus on word of mouth, social media, and educational presentations. Helena sees education as a key driver of long‑term success—helping people understand preparedness before they ever need it. Her long‑term vision is to grow Divine Provision into a trusted Canadian brand that supports households, organizations, and communities with practical tools and knowledge that truly make a difference.
Advice for Other Entrepreneurs
Helena’s advice reflects the mindset she brings to her own journey:
“Don’t wait until everything feels perfect before you begin. Start with purpose, stay teachable, and surround yourself with people and organizations that want to see you grow. If your work is rooted in service and integrity, success becomes more than profit—it becomes impact.”
