Meet the Founder: Julien Gagnier

Julien Gagnier is the Founder & CEO of Tablise, located in Whitby Ontario. With over a decade of experience leading People Operations, Total Rewards, and HR Business Partner teams across startups and global enterprises, Julien brings deep expertise and a Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation. He also holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.

Throughout his career, Julien saw the same challenge repeat itself: compliance was manual, fragmented, and hard to manage at scale. Even the most experienced HR teams were stuck in spreadsheets, chasing legal updates, and reacting to change without a clear system.

Julien founded Tablise to change that—to build the tool he always wished he had. His mission is to help HR teams be proactive, not panicked, and to make compliance a source of clarity, not chaos.

Tablise is by HR, for HR. And Julien’s experience ensures it stays that way.
