Designs are inspired by music icons, movies, shows, video games, anime, cartoons, and sports like Formula One Racing.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business by friends and family. I started making beaded jewelry in the pandemic and really enjoyed this new hobby that kept me busy. I started giving my friends the jewelry I made based on their interests as gifts – and they loved them! After that, friends and family starting requesting specific jewelry based on the characters and movies they loved. My mom even asked me to make a customized lanyard for her own business. People loved my designs and asked me where they could buy them from and offered to pay for them. This is how I decided to start my business – KayKee Jewelry.
What value did you receive from BACD?
The support I received from the the mentors and experts was great. I learnt so much in every training workshop. During my first mentor session with Patrice, she gave me ideas on what to do next in my business which helped me start running my business and reach my sales goals.
