Abi started Desu Beauty during one of the most challenging times in her life—the pandemic. What began as a hobby and a way to cope with uncertainty quickly turned into a passion and a purpose. Friends became clients, word spread, and Abi realized her gift could empower women everywhere. That’s when Desu Beauty was born.
When Abi joined BACD’s Starter Company Plus program (funded by the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade), she received more than just funding—she gained a complete support system to transform her passion into a structured, scalable business. BACD provided:
