CanXplore specializes in tours that immerse our guests in the culture of every location we visit to give them the most memorable and enjoyable experience. Our escorted small group tours are designed for the young-at-heart to experience the culture, must-see attractions and hidden gems of each destination. With a maximum of 22 guests, we offer our guests a more personalized travel experience.
Our current scheduled tours include Newfoundland, the Maritimes, plus Hawaii.

What inspired you to start a business?
I am passionate about travel and sharing amazing travel experiences with others. My business helps me share that passion.

Andrea Rowland was a great sounding board and advisor during my start-up process.
Tell us about the growth of your business?
I am a new local tour operator in Durham and am offering tours to locations that I have a tremendous amount of knowledge about and have visited many times. In the future, I have plans to expand the number of tours I offer, including tours to new destinations.
What marketing strategies are working for you?
Personal networking and marketing to local clubs to which I belong.
What advice would you give someone who is starting a business?
Take the time to do the research about your industry and your competitors.
