Mohamed R Bachani is the founder and President of Unique Accounting Services, where he has guided Canadian businesses for more than fifteen years. His practice provides bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and strategic planning for small and medium-sized enterprises across the country.

Beyond his professional work, Mohamed has played a visible role in the business community. He served on the Board of Directors of the Business Advisory Centre Durham (BACD) from 2016 to 2024, holding the roles of Secretary/Treasurer from 2017 to 2021 and Chair from 2021 to 2024. Since 2021, he has also contributed his experience as a Director with the Ajax-Pickering Board of Trade.

His commitment to service extends to volunteering. Through the CRA’s Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, he works with charitable organizations to prepare returns for those in need.

Mohamed’s work has been recognized locally and internationally. Unique Accounting Services has received multiple Readers’ Choice Awards from the Toronto Star and Oshawa-Whitby community, along with honors from the Canadian Business Awards and the Worldwide Finance Awards. In 2022, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for his volunteer service.

He is also a contributing author of The Entrepreneur’s Toolkit, a best-selling guide for business owners.
