Love Child Connected is a wellness studio for kids located in Whitby servicing the Durham region area
Supporting guidance in self-regulation.
Love Child Connected offers yoga classes, breathing techniques, calming games, art, meditation classes.
We offer parent child connection classes, and workshops, 1:1 breath coaching and therapy. Our goal is to provide a safe space to teach children creative ways to support their mental health, through the mind and body, and to use the strategies through out all life's challenges as they grow !
What Value did you receive from BACD?
The value I have received from BACD is to never stop shinning, and to believe in yourself. To practise what you preach and to trust that what you’re doing is right. To tweak things if they are not working the way you anticipated, and to grow with the business and be teachable!
The impact that Love Child has encountered since joining BACD is huge! The friendships, and mentorship has brought a lot of new clients, and business to the studio. Supporting me through decline, with new ideas and connections that keep me moving forward ! BACD introduced me to everything business. Get your socials up and running, meet with others in business, talk to people, attend events, market and collaborate in events, and join chambers and get yourself out there !!!! It has been the most amazing experience ever since and brought me right out of my shell!!!
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their own business?
Trust in yourself, and never give up on what youre going for. Be open to change.Check in with yourself and your well-being, know when you need a break and do not feel guilty about it. You are not alone, as long as you communicate, there is always someone who would love to listen and support you :) My favourite word to myself last year was “keep going
