High Horse Equestrian offers eco friendly and sustainable equestrian polo shirts and horse themed gift wear. High Horse Equestrian is for people in the equestrian community, who want to be eco conscious without sacrificing comfort and function in their equestrian items.
The factor that inspired me to start an eco friendly equestrian clothing line is the fact that its is impossible to find sustainable equestrian clothing. Also I wanted to make a range of sizes available for all equestrians. Taking in all these problems that I find in the equestrian market I decided to be apart of the solution by starting my own business.
BACD has helped me organize my business ideas and start up. The summer company meetings that I take part in has gave me a plethora of information and insight into starting a business.
High Horse Equestrian is a new business venture of mine as I have just started this summer. But High Horse Equestrian has not been my first business. When I was a kid I would try and sell Rainbow Loom custom friendship bracelets at school. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirt and mindset, and is why I think High Horse Equestrian will grow and blossom into something great.
A marketing strategy that has worked for me is getting followers of yours to share photos from your Facebook or Instagram has really helped as a lot of my demographic comes from those websites. A way that would be best is responding publicly when ever a person would share or comment on a photo. this helps engage new customers and feel like their commenting to a person rather then a business.
A piece of advice I would give to someone who wants to start their own business is to not be afraid in things that would optimize your business to the extent that you want it to become. If something is outside your comfort box, like a networking event it is important to push your self to try and get your company to wear you want it to be.
I believe that one of the reasons why I want to work so hard at my business is because I am able to implement my love for horse with my caring attitude to the planet. To have dedication to be successful in your work, you need to be passionate about what you do or else you will never have enough passion to be successful.
