The Inspiration

William’s entrepreneurial spark was lit in Grade 10 during an Entrepreneurship Business course, where BACD presented the Summer Company program. The idea of running his own business excited him, and he’s been hooked ever since — learning the ropes and building something of his own.

The BACD & Summer Company Experience

Through the Summer Company program, funded by the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade (MEDJCT), William received a grant and hands-on training to launch his business. With support from BACD and his mentor Maggie Perotin, he gained valuable skills in marketing, sales, financial management, and taxes.
