Do It In Durham 2022 – the 10th year of hosting Global Entrepreneurship Week in Durham!
Do It In Durham Entrepreneurship Week is a collaboration of Durham’s business support, educational and networking organizations who have come together to host events to encourage and support entrepreneurs, job creators and innovators who create economic growth in Durham Region. Do It In Durham takes place during Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) an international celebration of the makers, innovators and job creators who launch startups, bring ideas to life and advance entrepreneurship. Founded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation in 2008, GEW has since expanded to more than 180 countries.
Do It In Durham is an open invitation to anyone who wants to start a business, grow a business or champion entrepreneurship in our region. It is a perfect opportunity to connect with your entrepreneurship community.

TIMELINE: November 14 – 18, 2022
We kick off the week with the Chair of Durham Region raising the flag on Monday Nov 14th at 830am at the Durham Regional Headquarters flagpole.
Then organizations from across the Durham Region will host various types of events, tech expo’s, showcases and networking events to celebrate entrepreneurship. There is bound to be something for everyone!
This year’s programming, completely crowdsourced from the community, will focus on helping aspiring and established entrepreneurs, innovators and makers seize new opportunities, reach new customers, sharpen their entrepreneurial skills and harness the network they need to build stronger businesses. We know that through entrepreneurship we can work collectively to shape a brighter future for all.
All DIID sessions will be listed and open to registration on this website. Registration will open in October. Most of the events are free and open to aspiring entrepreneurs and businesses to attend.
